Richard S. Granat, Esq., is the President and CEO of the
Epoq, U.S., Inc, the publisher of the
Wills On-Line , a member of the
Epoq, U.S. family of legal information web sites.
Richard is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia
Bars and is a nationally recognized expert on delivering legal services and
legal information services over the Internet. Richard presently Co-Chair
of the ELawyering Task Force of the Law Practice Management Section of the American Bar Association, and Reporter for LPM,'s
"Best Practices for Legal Information Web Sites.". These Guidelines were recently approved by the ABA House of Delegates.
Richard also previously served as the President and Dean of the Philadelphia
Institute for Paralegal Training, the nation's first paralegal educational
institution where he pioneered the role of the legal assistant as a new career
role within the legal profession. Richard has also
also served as a member of the Task Force at the U.S. Office of Economic
Opportunity that created the National Legal Services Program that provides today
provides legal services to low income individuals nationwide.
